Overview
Tacto automatically compares incoming order confirmations with the related order and flags deviations. This way, you immediately see whether a confirmation deviates from your order.
What this means in practice:
Order confirmations are compared with the order item by item
Deviations in unit and total price, quantity, delivery date, article number and supplier article number, among others, are flagged automatically – as are unconfirmed or unordered items
You recognize confirmations without deviations at a glance
What problem does this feature solve?
Every order is followed by an order confirmation from the Supplier. Manually matching each confirmation with the original order takes time, and deviations are easily overlooked.
Typical use cases:
Check whether the confirmed price matches the ordered price
Identify deviating delivery dates before scheduling
Clarify quantity deviations early
How it works
In the sidebar under Tools, open Order confirmations.
Open the desired order confirmation; use Only deviating to hide items without anomalies.
Check the deviations flagged by Tacto for each item (price, quantity, date).
Clarify deviating items with the Supplier or accept them via Confirm deviations.
Prerequisite: The order confirmations module is activated for your organization.
Known limitations
Matching requires that the order and order confirmation are available in Tacto and assigned to each other.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Which fields are matched?
A: Unit and total price, quantity, delivery date, article number and supplier article number per item. In addition, Tacto flags unconfirmed and unordered items as well as confirmations for which no order was found.
Q: Are deviations corrected automatically?
A: No. Tacto flags deviations; you decide how to proceed.
Extracted values and buyer assignment
Tacto reads the values from the order confirmation using AI. If you change an extracted value, a tooltip shows the originally extracted and the current value (Extracted / Current). Under Settings → Tools → Order confirmations, you use the Buyer number mapping to define which users are responsible for order confirmations of a buyer number.
