AI negotiation preparation

Learn how to create a structured negotiation guide at the push of a button with the AI negotiation preparation.

The AI negotiation preparation creates a structured negotiation guide for you at the push of a button – with strategy ideas, key figures, charts and lines of argument based on your data.

How to create a negotiation guide

  1. In the Supplier profile, open the Negotiation tab and click Negotiation preparation at the top right.

  2. Under Optional context, add further information, e.g. recent email threads or internal notes.

  3. If needed, upload files in the Documents field via Upload files (e.g. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook messages or images; up to 30 files).

  4. Click Start preparation.

The AI analyzes the Supplier's master data, key figures, price development and benchmarks as well as your context. As soon as the guide is ready, you receive a notification.

Alternative: Create a new, empty note in the sidebar and select the Negotiation preparation template under Templates.

The result

  • The guide appears as a note in the Negotiation preparation sidebar – marked with Tacto.

  • The AI inserts key figures and developments (e.g. price development, cost factors, volume, competitors) as charts directly into the note.

  • You can edit, print or share the guide like any note (see Negotiation notes).

  • Rate the result with thumbs up / thumbs down – this helps us keep improving the guides.

Store a negotiation playbook

Under Settings > Tools > Negotiations, you can upload a Negotiation playbook (PDF, Word or PowerPoint). The AI uses it as the standard structure for all negotiation preparations in your organization.

Requirements

  • The AI negotiation preparation is available as self-service – no additional activation required.

  • You need edit rights on the Supplier.
