In-app notification center: notifications for the Requests and Tasks modules
In addition to email notifications, the notification center also provides in-app notifications for Requests and Tasks. This helps you keep track of the current status of your Requests and Tasks. You can also decide which notifications you receive by email and which you receive in-app. To open the notification center, click "Notifications" in the sidebar.
If a notification is not read within 60 minutes (by clicking the notification), the recipient also receives it by email.
If you don't receive this email, please allowlist the following address: "[email protected]".
🎯 Links in notifications take you directly to the relevant place in the app, so you can respond quickly.
Notification settings
Don't want to receive notifications, for example? Under Settings → Account → Notifications, you can adjust the delivery channel to suit you – choose between Email and In-App. The settings are grouped into the categories Mentions, Requests and Tasks.
Notifications for Requests
The notification center supports the following notifications for Requests:
Request/self-disclosure edited
Request/self-disclosure published
Request/self-disclosure closed
"You're set or removed as responsible for a request."
Supplier rejected the Request/self-disclosure
Supplier responded to the Request/self-disclosure
Supplier withdrew a response to the Request/self-disclosure
Notifications for Requests are sent to the responsible person and to everyone subscribed to the Request.
Notifications for Tasks
The notification center supports the following notifications for Tasks:
Task completed
Task commented on
Task edited
Task deleted
"You're set or removed as responsible for a task."
Only the person entered under "Responsible" receives the notifications. For example, the creator is not notified when a Task is completed.
Notifications for @mentions
If you mention a person with the "@" function in a text field – for example in negotiation notes, meeting notes, Tasks or Opportunities – that person immediately receives a notification in Tacto and by email.
To do so, type @ followed by the person's name in a text field with a rich-text editor and select the person from the list of suggestions. This lets you point colleagues to a Task or involve responsible people directly in a meeting note without writing a separate email.
The feature is available to all users with access to Tasks, meetings, negotiations and other areas with a rich-text editor.
