Overview
Individual or multiple Suppliers can be removed from the Supplier overview.
What this means in practice:
You delete individual Suppliers directly in the Supplier profile
Several Suppliers can be deleted together, limited to 200 Suppliers per operation
Linked data such as orders, Evaluations or Documents are not affected by the deletion
Tip: You do not need to delete duplicate Suppliers (e.g. from several ERP systems). Instead, link them in a Supplier structure – this keeps all records and the spend is analyzed together (see "Supplier structures").
If you manually upload a previously deleted Supplier again with a matching supplier number, the existing entry is reactivated automatically; the automated, recurring ERP integration, however, does not reactivate deleted Suppliers
How it works
1. Prerequisites
Permission delete Suppliers
2. Delete a single Supplier
Open the Supplier in question.
In the menu next to the Supplier name, select Delete Supplier.
Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
3. Delete several Suppliers
Select the desired Suppliers in the Supplier overview (up to 200 per operation).
Select Delete in the toolbar.
Confirm the deletion.
Permissions & access
Deleting requires the permission delete Suppliers as well as sufficient rights on the respective Suppliers.
Known limitations
If more than 200 Suppliers are selected, batch deletion is disabled; split the operation into several runs.
Deleted Suppliers disappear from the standard views; linked data is not changed.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I restore a deleted Supplier?
A: Not directly via the interface itself. If you manually upload the Supplier again with the same supplier number, the existing entry is reactivated automatically; the automated, recurring ERP integration does not do this. Alternatively, in case of an accidental deletion, contact your Solution Engineering contact or Support.
Q: Are linked orders or Evaluations also removed when deleting?
A: No, the Supplier is removed from the overview; linked data remains.
