Overview
With this release, you can create requests or RFQs directly from Analytics – without switching to other modules.
This means:
Direct connection from Analytics → Requesting / RFQ
Access via batch actions (three-dot menu)
Articles and/or suppliers are automatically added to the request
No manual copying or re-selecting required
What problem does this feature solve?
Previously, many analysis workflows ended in Analytics without a direct follow-up action.
With this release, we enable end-to-end use cases – from analysis to operational execution.
Typical use cases:
Request prices for multiple articles as preparation for a supplier negotiation
Benchmark prices for multi-sourcing articles
Request new payment terms from suppliers with unfavorable conditions
How it works
1. Prerequisites
Access to Analytics
Access to the Requesting or RFQ module
An Analytics table that includes suppliers and/or articles in the breakdown
2. Start a request or RFQ from Analytics
Open an Analytics table
Make sure that:
Supplier and/or article are included in the first two columns of the table breakdown
Open the three-dot menu (⋯) in the table
Select:
“Create request” or
“Create RFQ”
👉 The relevant articles and suppliers are automatically added to the request.
3. Continue in the Requesting / RFQ module
You are taken directly to the corresponding module
All transferred articles and suppliers are pre-filled
The request can be completed, reviewed, and sent as usual
Permissions & access
The existing permissions apply:
Analytics access (unchanged)
Access to the Requesting and/or RFQ module
No new roles or permissions are introduced.
Known limitations
The action is only available if suppliers and/or articles are part of the table breakdown
Batch actions are currently only available via the three-dot menu
