Data transfer via SFTP in Lobster
Data can be securely exported from Lobster to Tacto using an SFTP connection. To do this, you will receive the document prepared for you with your access data from the contact person responsible for your onboarding, and you will also find the link to the Lobster documentation on which we base the following specifications.
Configuring an SFTP connection in Lobster
Lobster supports FTP as a channel and also SFTP as a subtype of this.
You can find a detailed description of how to set up an FTP channel in the Lobster documentation under GUI > Administration > Partners > Channels > Type-specific settings > FTP (channel settings).
In our case, the FTP channel is used as the response path. You can also find more information on this in the documentation under GUI > Modules > Profiles (profile overview) > Phase 6 (GUI) > Response channel types > FTP response channel (FTPS, SFTP)
Profiles must be created for data exchange with Tacto and partners/channels are only used for the centralized management of access data. It should therefore be up to you whether you set up a channel or configure a response path directly.
When configuring the response path, values for protocol, server, port, user, password, directory and file must be specified.
The following parameters must be configured on your side:
Protocol: SFTP
Port: 22 (standard port for SFTP)
Server: Corresponds to CONNECTION_STRING in the SFTP access data provided by us
User: Corresponds to USERNAME in the SFTP access data provided by us
Password: Corresponds to PASSWORD in the SFTP access data provided by us
Directory: Gladly the home directory ./ configured by us
File: File name of the data to be uploaded, ideally with a date stamp as a prefix, e.g. 20230823-<FILE_NAME>.csv
π You have now successfully set up the automatic data upload to the Tacto cloud!
