Instructions for Completing the CBAM Data Submission

Step 1: Open the Email

  1. Open your email client and locate the email from Tacto regarding CBAM data submission.

  2. Follow the link provided in the email.

Step 2: Fill Out the Required Information

  1. Once logged in, navigate to the data submission form. Click the "Edit" button to enable editing of the form fields.

  2. Click the "Edit" button to enable editing of the form fields.

  3. Review the prefilled information:

    • Prefilled Information: This information is based on previous submissions or default settings. Check for accuracy

    • Updating Information: If there are new or different details, make the necessary changes. Otherwise, you can leave the prefilled information as it is.

  4. Click "Save" to ensure all changes are recorded.

Step 3: Fill Out the Information on Article Level

  1. In the form, navigate to the section requiring detailed information at the article level.

  2. Enter the data into the corresponding fields in the Tacto form and click "Save".

  3. Ensure Accuracy.

Step 4: Send Out the Tacto Request

  1. Review all entered data to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  2. Once satisfied with the information, click the "Submit" button to finalize the request.

  3. Confirm submission when prompted to ensure the data is sent to Tacto.

Notes on Prefilling Information

  • Automatic Prefilling: Some fields may be automatically prefilled based on historical data or default settings.

  • Review and Update: Always review the prefilled information carefully. Update any fields where information has changed or if there are discrepancies.

  • Consistency: Ensure all information is consistent with the latest data available, particularly from the provided Excel template.

By following these steps, you can accurately complete the CBAM data submission through the Tacto portal, ensuring compliance and proper documentation of your carbon emissions data.
